Eastern Mourns the Loss of Dale McDaris

Robin Dale McDaris, 49, passed away at his home in Greenville, SC on October 8, 2009, following a three-month battle with brain cancer. McDaris was the Anderson Branch Manager of Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. He had worked for Eastern for fifteen years. Kip Miller, President and CEO, notes, “Dale was a hard and productive worker. He played a major role in helping Eastern establish business with some of the company’s major accounts. Dale was one of the warmest and friendliest people I have ever known. I was blessed to have known him.”
McDaris was survived by his wife Whitney Lockwood McDaris and their two children, Grayson (5) and Tinsley (3). He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. McDaris of Greer; his sister-in-law, Sandy D. McDaris; his two nephews, Brent and Trey McDaris; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Gary D. McDaris.

A cherished member of the Eastern family, Dale McDaris – Anderson Branch Manager, is facing the battle of his life. Dale was recently diagnosed with brain cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Dale and his wife Whitney have a son Grayson (4) and a daughter Tinsley (2). Whitney is presently unable to work in order to help Dale with his recovery.
