Eastern Promotes Jones and Guthery - November 18, 2009
Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. is happy to announce the promotion of two key associates. Shelby Jones has been promoted to Branch Manager and Daniel Guthery has been promoted to Inside Sales Manager, both for our Charlotte location.
Independently owned and operated, Eastern has continued to expand across the Southeast in order to better serve their customer base. Eastern serves the Commercial, Mechanical, and Industrial markets with a full-line of pipe, valves, fittings, and commercial plumbing products. Eastern Mourns the Loss of Dale McDaris - October 9, 2009
Robin Dale McDaris, 49, passed away at his home in Greenville, SC on October 8, 2009, following a three-month battle with brain cancer. McDaris was the Anderson Branch Manager of Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. He had worked for Eastern for fifteen years. Kip Miller, President and CEO, notes, “Dale was a hard and productive worker. He played a major role in helping Eastern establish business with some of the company’s major accounts. Dale was one of the warmest and friendliest people I have ever known. I was blessed to have known him.”
McDaris was survived by his wife Whitney Lockwood McDaris and their two children, Grayson (5) and Tinsley (3). He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. McDaris of Greer; his sister-in-law, Sandy D. McDaris; his two nephews, Brent and Trey McDaris; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Gary D. McDaris.
Asheville Open House - May 1, 2009
On April 30, 2009 Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. held an Open House at its Asheville Branch located at 1262 Hendersonville Road. The Open House featured a BBQ lunch and product demonstrations by Anvil, Bradford White, Erico, and Sioux Chief. Over one hundred participants attended the event. Eastern's Asheville location carries a vast inventory of pipe, valves, fittings, and plumbing supplies for the Western North Carolina.
Charleston Grand Opening Event - April 22, 2009
Located at 1008 Bankton Road in Hanahan, SC and serving the Lowcountry of South Carolina, Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. officially opened on April 21, 2009. The Grand Opening event featured a catered BBQ lunch and product demonstrations by Anvil, Bradford White, Erico, Lenox, and Sioux Chief. There were over sixty at the event. This location stocks a full-line inventory of pipe, valves, fittings, and plumbing supplies. Branch manager, Greg Wheeler, comments "We are really excited to exceed customer expectations daily. Building strong relationships based on honesty and integrity is key to providing our customers effective and efficient service."
